Position Overview
FJM Innovative Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Engineer to support the design, accreditation, implementation, and sustainment of secure enterprise and cloud-based environments handling extremely sensitive data. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting systems across multiple network fabrics, hybrid cloud environments, and globally distributed architectures.
This role requires strong technical expertise in cybersecurity engineering, system accreditation, cloud security, and enterprise infrastructure modernization.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to ensure systems meet stringent security and operational requirements.
Responsibilities

FJM Innovative Technologies is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based enterprise systems supporting mission operations and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep AWS cloud expertise, strong systems engineering experience, and a proven background supporting secure government environments.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement system upgrades across enterprise cloud environments
-
Identify technical risks and develop effective risk mitigation strategies
-
Provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support, including Tier 1-3 support activities
-
Integrate emerging technologies including AI, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), mobile devices, and data analytics/analysis into systems architecture
-
Develop secure mis-attributable Internet based systems designed to mitigate user tracking concerns
-
Design, implement, and maintain multi-tier PKI hierarchy to support encryption and authentication via Root and Subordinate CAs
-
Support AWS cloud infrastructure engineering and administration efforts
-
Configure and manage EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Load Balancer, Route 53, and Cloud Formation services
-
Implement Cloud security solutions including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption (KMS) for data at rest and in transit
-
Manage cloud-based storage tools including S3 buckets and EBS volumes
-
Perform systems administration in Windows & Linux/Centos Server, and Apple macOS and IOS environment
-
Support database administration and scalability efforts using AWS RDS, MySQL, and Aurora
-
Monitor enterprise systems using Datadog and Cloudwatch alert and monitoring systems
-
Utilize Ruby on Rails, Bash, and Python scripting to support automation and operational tasks

Create and update operational procedures and provide briefings/demos to users and management
Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Demonstrated professional experience developing and implementing system upgrades

Demonstrated experience identifying technical risks and risk mitigation strategies

Demonstrated experience providing Operations & Maintenance, Tier 1-3 Support

Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
